The Regional Cancer Center has been bringing expert cancer care close to home for patients in the northwestern Pennsylvania region since 1987 and is affiliated with UPMC Cancer Centers, one of the largest integrated community networks of cancer physicians and health care specialists in the country. The Regional Cancer Center’s working relationship with UPMC Cancer Centers facilitates an exchange of information to integrate our community cancer center with the resources of one of the top academic programs in the country, collaborating to bring comprehensive and state-of-the-art treatment innovations and services to our patients.

Mid Level Provider - Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner




We are seeking talented candidates for a full time physician assistant or certified registered nurse practitioner opportunity. As a mid level provider, you will be working under the supervision of a physician to assist in the medical care of patients in an outpatient oncology setting. Mid level providers follow established standards, procedures, and practices at the respective hospitals and give specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff. Additional responsibilities include conducting follow-up examinations, diagnosing and treating health problems, and providing healthcare education to patients and families. EOE.

Medical Oncology Registered Nurse, Full Time


Applies oncological knowledge to provide nursing care to medical oncology patients. Administers chemotherapy, provides education and emotional support to patients/family; collaborates with RCC staff members and other health care providers to facilitate comprehensive health care services.

Scheduler


Schedules patient appointments from phone calls and from electronic physician orders. Reschedules appointments when necessary. Registers patient information in the electronic medical record. Provides rotating coverage for switchboard operator. Receives, screens, and directs all incoming phone calls, relays information departmentally and center wide. Must exhibit excellent phone manners and ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time with a high degree of accuracy and competency.
