Having Cancer When You Have Little Kids at Home

It was really hard for me to know what to tell my kids. The social workers at RCC helped. My children were able to take a tour of RCC and see where I would be for treatment. They talked to my children about what to expect and put them at ease.

Caregivers Lunch and Learn Support Group

Learn the basics of caregiving and what resources are available to you and for you. We welcome your insight, thoughts, and concerns as you meet other caregivers and support staff from RCC.

GYN Connection Support Group

This support group is open to any woman whose life has been affected by gynecologic cancer, providing an opportunity to share common concerns, fears, solutions and inspiration in a supportive environment. Guest speakers are occasionally scheduled to educate women on subjects of interest.

Breast Cancer Support Group

Support groups are an important resource for breast cancer survivors and may vary in focus. Regional Cancer Center’s main focus is education and providing emotional support. Guest speakers are occasionally scheduled to educate on subjects of interest to cancer survivors. Dinner will be provided so please make sure to RSVP.

RCC Children's Support Group (CLIMB)

Our CLIMB program is intended for children who have a loved one diagnosed with cancer. The group will discuss treatments for cancer as well as emotions related to having a loved one diagnosed with cancer.

Thrivers: A Support Group for Patients Living with Cancer

Living with cancer can bring anxiety and uncertainty to your life. It can also be a time of personal growth and, maybe, even second chances. You can still have hope and joy in your life, even as you cope with what lies ahead.

Thrivers Support Group at Regional Cancer Center is made up of patients who understand where you are and know how to live a full life, even with cancer. Thrivers are still active in living, taking life one day at a time.
